Hermans Techniek Nederland has been a supplier of pre-insulated straight pipes for more than 30 years. Successfully developing a network of global installers, our pre-insulated pipes have been laid in thousands of kilometres to sustainably carry water at a constant temperature and reduce the need for heating or cooling. The pre-insulated pipe system (district heating) is the most widely used system for heat networks and is the perfect solution for a multitude of sectors and applications.

Our pre-insulated pipe systems are widely used in heating and cooling networks. Compatible with many energy sources, Therma Tube’s pre-insulated steel pipes are more durable than ever.
We supply a complete package to our clients: pre-insulated steel pipes, fittings and assembly materials.
Because we always have pre-insulated steel and accessories in stock, we consistently deliver small projects on time. We also pre-insulate medium pipes like PE, stainless and other custom made options.
Together with the client, we plan our projects with well-known logistic partners and export our products worldwide. Also, we provide the information needed for export documents.
Our factory meets the environmental requirements of 14001:1998 and is Euro Heat & Power certified.
We offer VCA* certified installation (adjusting, welding and post-insulation) and assembly guides for the utility sector. The pipes are available in Duo (two pipes in one casing).
The outside surface of steel pipes is cleaned by shot peening to increase the adhesion of the rigid polyurethane foam (PUR).
The ends of a steel main pipe are prepared for welding by bevelling.
The internal surface of the polyethene pipe is activated with corona treatment to improve the adhesion of the rigid polyurethane foam.

Medium pipe: THERMA TUBE steel P235GH according to PN-EN-10217-1 or two welded or seamless options.
Temperature: From 10°C to 149°C.
Casing pipe: HDPE (option: with diffusion barrier).
Isolation material: 100% CKF-free blown PUR-foam.
Thermal conductivity: From 0,025 to 0.029 W/mK.
Maximum working temperature: 149 ºC.
Diameters: From DN20 up to DN1000.
Joint connections: THERMA-TUBE PEH-shrinking joints with a double closure and for insulation liquid PUR foam or PUR shells is used.
Leak detection system: All pre-insulated pipes and fittings will be delivered with Nordic alarm wires.
Ground coverage: A ground cover of 80 centimetres has been considered.

Therma Tube pre-insulated steam pipes have multilayer heat insulation made from polyurethane foam and mineral wool covering, used for high-temperature medium pipes (max. 200ºC) to transport low pressurized steam.
