Hermans Techniek is looking for an enthusiastic Technical Sales Representative to join our team and help develop innovative solutions for the agricultural, industrial, and district heating markets across Europe. We specialize in the supply of pre-insulated pipes, heat exchangers, and buffer tanks for sustainable installations.
Your Role
In this versatile role, you will be the point of contact for our customers and ensure their projects run smoothly. This means that you will:
- Follow up on customer inquiries and provide them with technical advice.
- Review technical drawings and assist in selecting the right materials, such as pre-insulated pipes, heat exchangers, and buffer tanks.
- Prepare and develop quotes using our software.
- Build and maintain customer relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Process sales orders and coordinate with suppliers.
- Process purchase orders to factories and check the delivery status.
- Monitor inventory and place new orders when necessary.
- Identify market opportunities and capitalize on commercial possibilities.
What You Bring
- A completed MBO or HBO education, preferably in a technical field.
- Affinity with technology; experience in mechanical engineering or installation technology is a plus.
- Strong commercial and communication skills, allowing you to interact well with both customers and suppliers.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to solve problems quickly and in a customer-focused manner.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
- You are result-oriented, flexible, decisive, and do not have a 9-to-5 mentality.
