Hermans was required to create a hot- and cold storage system for The Rijksmuseum, a national museum dedicated to arts and history in Amsterdam.
Pre-insulated PEX pipe with tracing and without tracing, pre-insulated steel pipes with tracing, and Cipex HT Buffer tanks were specified by Hermans. However, before the pipes could be installed, some logistical challenges had to be solved due to the busy location of the museum.
The pipes were successfully installed under the ground and in 2020, we delivered 3 buffer tanks of 500 litres. We are proud to have been part of this enormous renovation of one of the most beautiful museums in the Netherlands, The Rijksmuseum.
